Job Description
The College of Business, Graduate Programs, is seeking an Associate Director of Graduate Programs Recruiting. This position leads the development and execution of recruitment strategy, prospective student outreach, nurturing, advising, and admissions for assigned graduate programs within the College of Business. This person leads efforts in developing a robust applicant pipeline and manages the admissions process and cycle, using judgement in adjusting efforts to yield full classes of quality students. This position is responsible for nurturing and advising prospective and applicant students regarding programs and admissions requirements, monitoring progress of applications, assisting in the evaluation of program applicants, and reporting decisions, data and reports to the Administrative Director of Graduate & Executive Programs.

Primary Accountabilities:

1. Recruiting/Lead Generation Strategy & Execution:

•Create and manage the execution of recruiting strategy for each program recruiting cycle, collaborating with Administrative Director, Program Director, and Marketing & Communications
•Continually evolve recruiting tactics to support Graduate Programs in increasing qualified applicants and enrollment, while efficiently using COB human and financial resources
•Develop relationships across campus with Advisors, Chairs, Faculty and others to create strategy and opportunities to reach prospective students
•Create, schedule, and lead events such as class presentations, student organization presentations, information sessions, meet & greets, GMAT boot camps, etc. to build awareness and generate leads
•Create, schedule and manage on-campus awareness events, such as tabling, meet & greets, pop-up events, etc
•Identify and attend target events including Graduate and Career Fairs to generate program leads. Create and apply evaluation criteria including lead tracking to define success of each event.
•Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to develop and continually update marketing collateral and communications strategy in support of recruiting cycle and events
•Collaborate with Programs Team to create program-specific collateral such as fee schedules, program calendars, etc. to provide to prospective students
•Manage Recruiting Graduate Assistant and leverage other Graduate Assistants to assist in Recruitment Efforts

2. Admissions/Lead & Pipeline Management:

•Rapidly follow-up on all inbound leads and inquiries in a consultative and credible manner, effectively communicating the value of OHIO and our programs and delivering the OHIO Brand experience
•Develop appropriate rapport and relationship with prospective students.
•Guide prospective students through the application and admissions process, delivering the Bobcat Brand and an exceptional student experience. Monitor and communicate progress of applications to facilitate the submission of complete application packages. Act as liaison with Graduate College.
•Determine strategy for and execute on call campaigns at critical points during the recruitment cycle
•Lead the admission process by evaluating applications, determining eligibility for and conducting interviews, communicating admissions decisions, and maintaining records.
•Design interview day format. Set interview dates and events, manage scheduling of Faculty, Staff, and Prospective students in conducting interviews
•Anticipate yield issues, create strategies and execute tactics to maximize yield
•Understand and stay current on admissions policies and regulations, liaise with Graduate College and other Graduate Programs Staff to support recruiting processes and ensure compliance

3. Reporting/Analysis/Systems Administration:

•Maintain up-to-date records in including daily updates from CollegeNet, GRADS, and other databases
•Create and analyze weekly and final cohort funnel reports and lead source for each program, analyzing the health of the funnel compared with established objectives and previous trends and recruiting cycles.
•Take action/adjust recruiting strategy based on analysis
•Create evaluation criteria and provide periodic reporting of effectiveness of recruiting tactics across programs
•Provide reporting of cohort composition as new cohorts are seated
•Continually evaluate systems, processes, and tactics to recommend improvement opportunities
•Develop checklist and trigger system updates, application open/close dates, funnel rollovers, etc. as recruiting cycles open and close

Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field by the time of application
-At least 3 years of related work experience
-Valid Driver’s License
-Successful incumbents must pass background check, judiciary review, and regular driving record audits.

Preferred Qualifications
MBA or willingness to complete OHIO MBA
