The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is searching for a qualified person for the position of Payroll Coordinator.

The Payroll Coordinator works closely with Human Resources, Financial Management and Department Managers to process multiple payrolls across multiple entities. In addition to processing of payrolls, this individual provides oversight and assurance that certain benefit plans are in compliance with applicable laws. All members of our team are expected to act as an expert resource for over 200 remote locations, providing the highest levels of service.

Job responsibilities include processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll; calculate and deduct appropriate amounts from payroll checks, including tax withholdings and garnishments; verify all overtime hours with the appropriate management personnel prior to issuing payroll checks; obtain and verify direct deposit banking information from employees; oversee internal payroll and accounting audits on a semi-annual basis.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or HR Management; five years of experience in human resources, payroll or corporate accounting; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; certification in Payroll Management is a plus; experience with Paycor Perform payroll software is preferred and experience with Intacct Accounting system is a plus.
